I designed the touchscreen to be the large focal point with the form leading straight to it. The round contour and soft corners draws users in.

Preparing delicious meals is an enjoyable experience we all share. Having your tools express that same joy with fun colors enhances that experience. I have no doubt most people will go with the sleek, modern black and white models, but the options are still there.
